This door handle uses one clear form to explore three different aluminium finishes. The glass-bead-blasted version has a soft, finely textured surface; the chrome-plated version reflects its surroundings; and the matt black version absorbs light and gives the form greater visual weight. Shape, proportion and grip remain unchanged, allowing the surface treatment alone to alter how the handle is seen and felt in the hand.
