Teapot

Porcelain

A teapot where the lightness of porcelain meets the firm grip of steel.

The teapot balances two materials with very different properties: the fragile, heat-resistant porcelain for the body that holds the water, and the cool, firm steel for the handle that keeps the hand away from the heat. The meeting between the two materials is not concealed — it is visible and clearly articulated, because that is where the entire logic of the pot is decided. A tool for the daily tea ritual that makes the transition between hand and heat part of its own story.
