NL262 builds on the experience of NL69, developed as a more compact interpretation of the same archetype. Working deliberately with the relationship between height and width, the lamp was visualised in dark green enamel. It develops an existing formal language rather than seeking a radical reinterpretation — a refinement of proportion and construction in a denser, more resolved form.

NL262 refines the geometry of its predecessor into a more compact, desk-appropriate form. The enamel finish gives the lamp a dense, tactile surface that ages well and resists daily wear. The proportions are resolved to keep the lamp stable and unobtrusive on the desk surface, while providing the light quality needed for focused work.
