NL235 is a pendant lamp developed around the meeting of aluminium and opal glass. The project seeks a light fitting that reads as natural and effortless without becoming anonymous. Light is filtered through the opal glass, softening and distributing it evenly, while the aluminium components provide structure and identity. The lamp balances technical precision with visual softness.
The aluminium body houses the light source and provides structural rigidity, while the opal glass diffuses and softens the output. The combination produces an even, calm light suited to a range of interior settings. The form is kept simple so the lamp recedes when not in use and performs when it is.
