Oak and Steel
A foldable shelving system that expands in height via a scissor mechanism.
Two identical oak frames are connected by cross-supporting steel bars in a scissor mechanism that allows the to expand from a low to a high configuration, while the shelves engage the structure. Grooves milled into each shelf lock the system at the chosen height – no tools, no brackets, just friction and structure that keeps the shelving stable in exactly the setting the space requires.
