NL127 is a chair with a steel frame and an oak seat and back. The two materials are resolved in direct contact — the cold precision of welded steel supporting the warmth of solid wood. The contrast is structural and honest, with no transition element between them.
The curved top rail of NL127 is the central idea of the construction: one continuous element that follows the body's form and becomes a clean, unbroken armrest on both sides. The tubular steel frame provides strength and lightness, while the solid oak seat and back add the warmth and tactility a chair needs to invite daily use.
