NL180 is a set of drinking glasses in glass. The form is resolved through the logic of the blowing or pressing process, with a wall thickness and base proportioned for stability and ease of use. No decoration is applied beyond what the material and process produce.
NL180 maintains the same recognisable Ø80mm profile whether the object is made in glass, stainless steel or porcelain. It is an investigation of how a form can remain consistent while the material changes — the same silhouette, but an entirely different tactile and visual experience from the cool steel to the fragile porcelain.
